[Assault Rhythm]

that melody sounds really familiar but I cant put my finger on it, the vibe in general reminds me of (not completely but close to) Pilot Wings. I like it.

It's very bittersweet sounding, the 6/8 flows very nice to each part, and as I've mentioned before very nice piano timbre. I like it, and if you ever wanted to collab or something I'd be down for that

Hey sorry I missed this, I was so overwhelmed in January I missed a bunch of reviews. Now is probably not the best time to talk about collaboration, I got a bunch of new equipment coming in the mail soon which is going to distract me to death. I wouldn't mind doing something down the road though, you just gotta bother me about it until I feel guilty. I am legit the easiest person you will ever guilt into doing things :D

I basically only use VST synths, Sylenth1, Serum and Mini V3 are my most used ones.
I do a lot of sound shaping with effects though, my main effects are Valhalla VintageVerb, the Ableton stock delay, Echo, RC-20 and EQ8.

sidechain kicks ass, the general atmosphere is perfect for downtempo, i like it

that drum groove has the perfect compression to it, and the sidechain is sick too, only complaint is it's too short, i love it.

very nice progression for just two changes, the solo changing makes it flow like a river (or something stupid like that, thats how I imagined it). I like it.
