Heyo, haven't posted in over a month damn.
Thought I'd just do a lil' update. Aside from the non-Newgrounds related projects I'm helping with, I have been working a lot more lately and been in a state of brain fog, and haven't had much ideas. Not to say there's no collabs going on but just been tired. Hoping in July I get more aspirations to make stuff.
In general I've been thinking a lot about my state of mind, and my outlook on the future, and notice a general downward trend in happiness and optimism. I generally do try to be a "glass half full" person but am so jaded it's more rare to not be negative about the outcomes of things. It's easier to expect nothing because then you're always surprised, right? Whether it's correct or not, it leads to pure apathy, and that is worse than anything.
So I thought I'd try to be kinda proactive and send links for some things to try to not feel as uncaring.
KOSA has passed the House (if you don't know the details please search for yourself), and is set to go to the Senate to be passed soon, but there's time to contact your Senators to vote NO. Send them a message here.
Venezuela was hit by massive earthquakes, and reportedly support and aid is below what is needed, so if you have some spare change give them support on this gofundme.
On July 13th, a rule change proposition is set to be voted on which if passed would allow Russ Vought, the head of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for the US, to essentially control all of what gets funded and what doesn't, and includes sweeping changes to grants for every sector, and bars all collaboration with any foreign nation on scientific efforts. Please send a message to say NO on this proposition.
That's about it.
