That bass synth really reminds me of my childhood. I don't know how old you are but back in the early 2000s that 303 sounding arp defined my love of techno shit. It really reminds me of a game I used to play called DethKarz, and I get a lot of nostalgia out of it. Great track.

Drums are mixed good and the background pads fukin rule. Love it

ThePal responds:

The acid bass/lead's definitely supposed to resemble something that would've played in the '90s/early '00s, I've never heard of the game, but it must be good since it reminds you of it.

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it a lot!

Not gonna lie, I thought it was gonna be Careless Whisper but Baldi was singing it.

Nice! Whats OHB?

Viraxor responds:

OHB is a One Hour Battle, a competition where you must make a song in only one hour. They are often hosted on Battle of the Bits. Thank you for the review :)

I like it, it sounds like the bass is being drowned out or is too high in the mix. That or one of the pads is clashing with it. Drum sounds are dope, maybe bring the kick out more or have it sidechain more. Good job homie.

Vista-Sound13 responds:

I appreciate you stopping by and offering some feedback, bud! :D

Nice song, I think the hi-hats hit too high of a frequency that it sounds like its clipping (idk if that's just my speakers or not but that's what I heard), I think maybe low pass a little bit on them or do a like saturation mixed with a compressor and the low pass to get a kinda 80s vinyl sound.

Kick and snare are good, I think the snare needs to hit harder, and less white noise. The pads fucking rule and the synth leads do too.

Overall good ass track.

Preds responds:

thanks for the feedback! I'll try to fix those things once I release it on streaming services :D I appreciate it

Good job, its like cinematic DnB, good drum mix. I like it

Benji-G responds:

Thanks mate!

I like it. Good drums, nice progression, and nice tones. I think it needs more action, or ear candy and it'd be sick.

ThePal responds:

All this feedback makes me wanna go work on it again, haha, I might just do that sometime soon! Thank you for the feedback!

Very nice pads, also "An empty peanut can" is a funny tag.

Midnights-Ocean responds:

Thank you. I love meh pads. Indeed. <:3

Bro went to an actual studio? Hell yea. That guitar rules, very nice effects on it. Drums got that super compressed tone to them that works very well. I love it.

ItsBurner responds:

Thank you so much for the kind words, it's super motivating !

this shit is so loud this fuckin rules, also how is Ozone 10? I still use 9.

Synami responds:

Ozone 10's a really good upgrade for the Stabilizer module alone. There's a couple other things like soft clipping for the maximiser, but I personally just use Pro-L 2 -0.1dB :p
The UI difference for the Master Assistant is really divisive, personally I just use a preset with the Imager and Stabilizer just to make sure nothing goes out of phase or if the mid to high end becomes uncontrollable. Really good stuff.
